Having moved from London where their outdoor space had been very limited, my clients wanted their new garden to embrace the possibilities afforded by this much larger landscape and provide plenty of space for family life.
The strong character of the house called for a garden with an equally confident identity. A series of generous terraces and richly planted spaces creates a stronger connection between house and garden, with areas for relaxing, dining and entertaining arranged around the refurbished swimming pool. Abundant, colourful planting softens the architecture and brings a sense of movement and seasonal interest throughout.
