ARTS AND CRAFTS COTTAGE

A simple planting scheme makes a beautiful first impression for visitors to this Arts and Crafts style country home in Sevenoaks. A double row of bronze-leaved amelanchier trees underplanted with deep purple pittosporum balls, lime green hakonechloa grass and pink tulips now frames the approach to the house.

This lockdown project was entirely focused on the planting scheme as the whole front garden was previously laid to lawn either side of the path. In the back garden, spring arrives with chartreuse green euphorbias contrasting with the soft cream and dusty apricot tulips

We have loved working with Rhiannedd on our garden. She not only has an incredible eye for what makes a garden look beautiful, she is also very practical, full of knowledge and a great listener. We absolutely love what she has done for us, she has left us not only with a stunning garden, but also somehow made us catch the gardening bug.
