SURREY PICKLEBALL GARDEN

Designed for a retired couple with a growing family, this garden transforms a previously disconnected tennis court and its surroundings, into a place for different generations to spend time together.
The old court was replaced with a smaller pickleball court for their young grandchildren, releasing a significant part of the site back into the garden. From the existing summer house, a wide, gently descending route now winds through abundant planting, with stone steps and water bringing movement and interest to the journey.
At the lower level, a generous terrace creates a destination for outdoor living, with a covered kitchen and dining area alongside informal seating gathered around a fire. Mature trees and layers of colourful planting soften and connect the different spaces, allowing areas for sport, relaxation and entertaining to sit comfortably within the wider garden.
